I lived here for 3.5 years and absolutely loved it. The front desk staff is always very welcoming and helpful, and the manager, Syd, is very considerate and will help you feel at home. I lived by the woods and loved the natural trail alongside the complex (Eastern edge). It will take you all the way to Calico Jacks if you can find the connecting trail or to 20th ave if you go the other direction. The distance from UF can be intimidating, but with a bus every 10 minutes, you can expect to get to campus in about 25 min (morning rush hour) or 15 min (little traffic or riders). I had random roommates three times, and everything worked out each time.

Overall Spyglass is a great place to live. I've lived here for a few years. Any time there has been a problem management has been very prompt to fix it. My only complaint would be the mosquitos. The dog park is especially bad. I'm not sure if they spray for them but if they don't they should! It would also be nice to have the office staff available longer hours. Sometimes it is hard to reach someone and left messages don't seem to work well.

I love that it is so safe and clean. I also like that it is on a bus route when i first moved in here i didn't have a car so it was really nice to be able to just walk out to catch the bus to school and work. The staff is super nice and always helpful. The parking is never too packed so i always have a place to park my car. What i really love is being able to lock my room door so when i leave i know that my things are safe. :)

It's a small, quiet community and I feel very safe and at home here. All the staff and maintenance people are super friendly and always on the ball. The apartments are the nicest I've seen in Gainesville for the great price I pay. It's fantastic and I'll live here until I leave Gainesville.

quiet and clean. quality apartments, but the furniture needs cleaning. everyone is so friendly and welcoming and there is rarely ever noise at night.

It's pretty cool. I've only been here for a month but I like it so far. The dog park is pretty cool... The gym is pretty nice..... You can hear the people walking upstairs and hear them close their door, but I think that's pretty much with every apartment complex. I had the same problem at my old place. The parking is great. I never worry about having to find a spot or having my friends get towed. The only thing they could improve on is the sign out front needs lights for when it gets dark out. I'm sure plenty of people have accidently driven past the complex at night because you can't see the sign. Other than that, I love Spyglass.
